For MEMORIES OF UNKNOWN, the Pan Am Lounge was transformed into the fictional home of an unknown collector – a place filled with personal traces, memories and stories, shaped by an imagined life between Berlin, Paris, Milan and New York.

Artworks, furniture, books, travel documents and personal objects come together to create a layered interior. What is memory and what is fiction? Who lived here, which places did they travel to, and which stories did they bring back? The answers are deliberately left open.

A New Chapter in London

Following an extensive renovation, the showroom now presents an entirely new experience. Conceived by Austrian interior designer Theresa Obermoser, the new interior concept combines Britain's rich design heritage with a contemporary interpretation of comfort, materiality and textile design.

Between Past and Present

The Pan Am Lounge provides a setting that carries a rich history of its own. This legendary location evokes the elegance of the Jet Age, international encounters and the fascination of an era when travel became an expression of a new way of life.
