One Continuous Line

TWISTIN translates the principle of the one-line drawing into a textile medium. This drawing technique, in which an entire composition is created without ever lifting the pen, reduces complex forms to a single uninterrupted gesture. What appears spontaneous is in fact carefully orchestrated, with every line emerging from movement while remaining part of a larger whole.

Here, the pen gives way to embroidery. A bold cotton cord is appliquéd onto smooth cotton satin using a finely contrasting embroidery thread, creating a continuous line that gains remarkable spatial presence. The embroidery lends the graphic motif an almost sculptural quality while revealing the making process itself.

Where line meets material, a richly textured textile composition emerges—graphic, tactile and quietly expressive.
