The Logic of Weaving

WABI revisits one of weaving's most fundamental ideas. Organic bands intersect horizontally and vertically, forming an open structure reminiscent of an enlarged plain weave—the most elementary and enduring of all textile constructions. Between order and freedom, a composition of quiet clarity takes shape.

An innovative weaving technique gives the bands a subtle three-dimensional presence. They appear to float above the ground cloth, creating depth and a distinctly tactile surface. Warm neutrals and soft pastels reinforce the relaxed character of the design, allowing its generous composition to unfold with effortless ease.
