Zimmer + Rohde for Turri

For more than a century, Zimmer + Rohde, a leading global textile manufacturer, has been pushing forward with fabric innovation while at the same time maintaining its commitment to traditional quality — much like Turri, the Italian luxury furniture company internationally recognized for its “Made in Italy” craftsmanship and bespoke capabilities, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary.

 

From the heart of Germany to Milan’s Golden Triangle of Design and Fashion, the two companies have created a collection of contemporary textiles that balance richness and refinement, as modern and exciting as only the merging of German design and bespoke Italian luxury can deliver.

The overall collection of Zimmer + Rohde for Turri features a range of distinctive luxury fabrics. These include Bisanzio, a geometric pattern with mystical Byzantine references; Tinto, a tonal textile that brings softness and depth to interiors; and Elian, a versatile neutral that blends effortlessly. Rythm explores contrasts through a subtle meditation on music, while Relax offers a calm geometric interpretation of plaid. Infinity Tweed stands out as a bespoke fabric that merges traditional craftsmanship with contemporary, high-tech sophistication. The collection is completed by Mountain Lines, inspired by the mountain landscapes that connect the two countries and shape their creative vision.

 

Turri will present Mountain Lines as a fully immersive installation at its booth during Salone del Mobile Milano 2026—upholstering five of its iconic pieces and inviting visitors to experience craftsmanship and the magic of the partnership. The Roma Chair, designed by Monica Armani, plays with the soft vocabulary of shapes and geometries, round arches, ovals and tactile curves. Turri’s Miller Armchair is an icon of the House with its lacquer back, soft cushion and conical legs. The Director’s Armchair from the Madison Collection is a clear reference to the cinematic style of old Hollywood glamour. The Silhouette Lounge, designed in collaboration with Gensler Product Consulting, is known for its inverse “U” shape with its comfy cushion floating on iconic metal legs. The final piece, the Eclipse Chair, designed by Andrea Bonini, features a sleek linear design with a comfortable backrest subtly spaced from the seat to convey a feeling of lightness.
